Hello,

Although we are still in the middle of some dark and difficult times, it feels as if there is hope on the horizon. In Wales (where the weather is famously rainy), there is a saying about better times to come, Daw eto haul ar fryn, which means ‘the sun will shine again on the hill’.

It comes from a verse which goes like this:

Er maint sydd yn y cwmwl tew
O law a rhew a rhyndod
Daw eto haul ar fryn
Nid ydyw hyn ond cawod!

However much the thick cloud
Is filled with rain and ice, and chills us
The sun will shine again on the hill
For this is just a shower!
