Hello!

We’ve just had the most wonderful opportunity to be together again, after all this time, in the beautiful Berkshire village of Pangbourne. Pangbourne is a testament to friendship – the end of the journey for Jerome K Jerome’s Three Men in a Boat, and home to Kenneth Grahame, creator of those four famous friends Mole, Ratty, Badger and Toad in the Wind in the Willows.

What a treat it was: A warm and sunny early autumn day, lunch with dear friends right on the river at The Swan pub – with a swan landing as we ate! – and a lovely walk in the National Trust’s Pangbourne Meadows. All too brief, but such a tonic.

We hope you too can take some time this month to celebrate friendship, near or far, and enjoy these early autumn days.

Here’s to the next time,

Sam and Claire
